France Hydrogène was organising a plenary meeting for the Grand Est regional delegation, to be held in the morning at FIVES Cryo. The day concluded with a visit to the site. Invited by the Pôle Véhicule du Futur, Around twenty representatives of companies, clusters and training providers took part in a tour of the Golbey site. The plant produces brazed aluminium heat exchangers (BAHX), which play a crucial role in the field of cryogenics, thanks to their ability to facilitate heat transfer at very low temperatures. They are widely used in hydrocarbon, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and gas processing applications, offering high reliability while limiting energy consumption.
Renowned for their efficiency, compactness and design flexibility, the heat exchangers of Fives Cryo are widely used in the cryogenic industry. Fives is recognized as the world leader in BAHX and has 20 years of experience developing them for hydrogen liquefaction. Their worldwide clients are involved in space applications, research centers and various industries.
