21-22.02: Our kick-off meeting took place in Helmond (NL)

The kick-off meeting for the INTERREG Green SKHy project was held on 21 and 22 February in Helmond in the Netherlands. This transnational project brings together 17 European partners (training organisations, universities, business clusters) from 6 countries to address the issue of new skills linked to the emergence of the hydrogen industry.

This kick-off meeting, organised within the Dutch cluster Automotive NL, gave the consortium the opportunity to get together and define the work plan for the coming months. A visit of TNO laboratory was also organised, with a presentation of its hydrogen combustion engine.

As leader of this ambitious project, AFPA is coordinating the consortium and is the sole contact for the INTERREG North-West Europe programme, the project's main funder. Networking between European counterparts also makes it possible to complete the work on hydrogen incubators by benefiting from the expertise of the various partners.

The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 19 March at the Metz Convention Centre for a cross-border meeting of hydrogen industry players. More than 300 professionals from the sector and institutions are expected to attend this event co-organised by Afpa, the Grand Est Region, the Union des Entreprises de Moselle and France Travail.

Thank you to our Dutch partners for their impeccable hosting of this 1st official meeting!
