Another edition of the Trinational Hydrogen Initiative 3H₂ took place today in Basel. The event, organised by project partners Klimapartner Südbaden and Pôle Véhicule du Futur, provided a comprehensive overview of current developments in the hydrogen economy. Particularly striking was the interdisciplinary approach, which brought together stakeholders from research, business and politics across national borders.

A special highlight was the presentation by Heathcliff Demaie from the Université de Lorraine. He highlighted the growing interconnection between business, science and education in the hydrogen sector and emphasised the key role that qualified specialists will play in the future.

Outlook: The focus is already on the future. The next edition of the tri-national event next year will focus more on training and qualification. The date and location have been set: the hydrogen community will meet in Konstanz (Germany) on 14 and 15 October 2026.
