Content: Through hands-on sessions and theoretical instruction, participants gain a solid understanding of how modern hydrogen production, storage and utilisation systems operate, as well as the relevant safety regulations and detection tools.
- Introduction to hydrogen (production, uses, types, etc.)
- Properties of hydrogen (physical and chemical characteristics, behaviour, reactivity, and flammability)
- Physical and chemical risks (leaks, overpressure, explosion and fire, impact on health and the environment, risk assessment, etc.)
- Principles of applicable standards, regulations, and directives
- Dihydrogen detectors in an installation
- Safety systems for storage systems
