The Swiss Hydrogen Week in Fribourg brought together experts, students, researchers, industry representatives, and public stakeholders for five days dedicated to hydrogen technologies, innovation, and education.
The programme featured the H2 Grand Prix, a Summer School on fuel cells, electrolysis, and hydrogen mobility, as well as technical visits to the hydrogen facilities of Gruyère Hydrogen Power and Liebherr in Bulle. A key highlight was the international symposium, "Hydrogen Today: Bridging Research, Innovation and Education," which welcomed experts from Switzerland, France, and Germany to discuss hydrogen production, storage, mobility, and workforce development.

The final days focused on hands-on learning through technical training, industrial site visits, and the Transnational Summer School, organised in collaboration with partners from Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands. Overall, the event successfully strengthened international collaboration, promoted knowledge exchange, and highlighted the growing importance of hydrogen technologies for a sustainable energy future.
