As part of our project, two important pilot training courses on hydrogen technology took place in recent weeks. The first was a two-day practical training course in Varel (Germany), organised by our partners Deutsche WindGuard and PLANET in collaboration with Future.solutions and Dr. Birgit Thoben. A total of 15 trainees, students, teachers and those with an interest in technology gained their first practical insight into innovative hydrogen applications.

Just a few weeks later, the second pilot training course took place at the University of Groningen (NL). In the advanced course on fuel cell and electrolysis technology, 18 participants – including doctoral students, master's students and engineers – worked intensively with experimental setups and gained valuable practical experience.

Both events were organised in collaboration with Deutsche WindGuard, PLANET GbR, Future Solutions and the University of Groningen. The pilot phase will conclude with a third course on 2–3 December 2025 in Yverdon (Switzerland), before the full training programme starts in 2026.
